About Modern Leaf Woodworks
Modern Leaf Woodworks started in our garage in Golden and has rapidly grown over the last three years into a 10,000 sq. ft. shop in Arvada. We specialize in high-end fully custom cabinetry and design and are expanding into larger-scale residential and commercial projects.
We combine craftsmanship with advanced technology and modern production systems to build custom cabinetry at scale right here in Colorado. As we continue growing, we're looking for dependable team members who want to grow with us.
About the Position
This is not a small traditional woodshop environment. Our shop utilizes advanced machinery, CNC technology, software systems and modern fabrication processes. We’re looking for hard-working people who enjoy building, creating, and working with their hands in a fast-paced modern production environment.
You do not need cabinet-making experience. We can teach cabinetry. We’re primarily looking for someone who is reliable, mechanically inclined, physically capable, comfortable around machinery, and eager to learn.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in shop environments, construction, manufacturing, installation, or other hands-on trades.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of custom cabinetry
• Operate shop equipment and woodworking machinery
• Safely use tools including chop saws and production equipment
• Help load, move, and handle large sheet goods and wood panels for CNC production
• Support residential and commercial projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Work with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
• Reliable and punctual, shows up ready to work
• Comfortable operating tools and machinery
• Physically capable of safely lifting and maneuvering large wood panels, cabinets and materials
• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment
• Takes pride in organization, cleanliness, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred Experience (not required):
• Shop, manufacturing, woodworking, or construction experience
• Experience operating CNC or advanced machinery
• Experience making 5-piece doors
• Cabinet-making experience is a plus
