Golden Counseling Center is a private pay group practice serving the Golden, Arvada, and Lakewood communities. We combine therapy with brain-based care, including neurofeedback and biofeedback, for children, teens, adults, couples, and families.

About the role
We’re hiring a part-time Neurofeedback Technician to support our neurofeedback program. You’ll work under the direct supervision of our Board Certified in Neurofeedback (BCN) clinician and help clients feel comfortable and well cared for, from their first brain map through their training sessions.

What you’ll do

• Run neurofeedback and biofeedback training sessions: place sensors, monitor sessions, and keep clients comfortable
• Record brain maps (qEEG) following our protocols, with interpretation and protocol decisions handled by the supervising clinician
• Greet clients, manage scheduling, and handle check-in and payments
• Clean and maintain equipment, set up rooms, and track supplies
• Follow our documentation, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards

What we’re looking for

• Some experience in a clinical or technical setting preferred but not required. On site training provided
• A calm, warm presence with clients of all ages, including children and anxious adults
• Reliability and strong follow-through: you show up on time, communicate early, and finish what you start
• Attention to detail and comfort learning software and equipment
• Willingness to learn our systems (Simple Practice and Google Workspace) and work under supervision

Schedule
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. Specific days and times will be discussed during the interview. Target start date is on or around November 11, 2026.

Pay and benefits
$22.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience. Paid sick leave as required by Colorado law. Paid training hours. Potential for a paid BCIA certification after 90 day evaluation. Ongoing continuing education opportunities.
