Iron String Books was established in 2025 and is based in Golden, Colorado. We are currently operating as a pop-up bookshop attending local events and partnering with local businesses in Golden.
The name Iron String Books is inspired by the principles of transcendentalism; namely trusting one's intuition, belief in the inherent goodness of people, and pursuit of developing a genuine connection with oneself, others and nature.
We believe that bookstores enrich the community around them through offering books and programming that spark intellectual curiosity and engagement. Our long term vision is to open a brick and mortar location in Golden that is an inclusive and welcoming space that facilitates discovery of new books, ideas, and connection within the community.
