I studied advertising and fashion photography in Austin, then learned from some of the best photographers in the business in Dallas. Kayak fishing became my second passion, and it's where I started building my portfolio. Eventually I packed up my gear and my dog Sam and headed for Colorado.
Since then I've photographed 45 Colorado state parks for Colorado Parks and Wildlife, documented a beaver habitat restoration for GOCO, and earned a 2025 SPJ Top of the Rockies award. Closer to home, I love working with local businesses on headshots, team photos and the stories behind their brands. Off the clock, you'll find me on a trail or a lake with a rod in hand.
