The Golden Hotel, located at 800 11th Street in the heart of downtown Golden, is excited to partner with the Golden Fine Arts Festival for a one-of-a-kind community art experience. The event will be held on Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the hotel's Clear Creek Pavilion. The hotel invites community members to stop by and hand-paint Colorado wildflowers onto spurs that will be displayed in the hotel's newly renovated guest rooms. Patrons can paint freehand, use a stencil, or simply watch and enjoy the community atmosphere — all skill levels are welcome. Know Before You Go - This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. -The event will be held rain or shine in The Golden Hotel's covered Clear Creek Pavilion, adjacent to the Golden Fine Arts Festival in Parfet Park. -Ages 6+ can paint a spur; younger children are welcome to enjoy coloring pages.
