Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM MST
Event Description:

The Hiwan Homestead Museum and Monarch Productions are pleased to announce The Corset-Out Fashion Show, Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 1:00pm. The show is presented by fashion expert, Shereen Johnston of Woodland Park, Colorado and produced by Colorado’s premiere Old West events company, Monarch Productions, of Lakewood, Colorado.

This informative presentation will feature fashions mainly for women, from the 1860’s to 1899, with a dash of gentlemen’s haberdashery. Satisfy your curiosity of what women wore under all those layers, starting with the form-changing corset. Men’s fashions include a variety of frock coats and other vêtements pour homes.

Tickets are $10 per person, which includes refreshments. Seating in The Timbervale Barn, 4132 S. Timbervale Dr., Evergreen, (behind the Hiwan) is limited, so reserve your seats early.
