FREE EVENT- Four Americans are going to attempt to break the world record for the most miniature golf holes played in a 24 hour period right here in Golden, Colorado!!!!!!. The current record of 1,440 mini golf holes was set back in 2005 by the Germans. The event will be taking place at Heritage Square's 18 hole Family Miniature Golf Course, beginning on Saturday June 13th at 5pm. The 4 participants will play all through the night and end on June 14th at 5pm. The public is invited to cheer on four of our own. There will be plenty of other events going on all weekend long to celebrate as well as honorary guests that will include the Mayor of Golden, Jacob Smith. Children's Hospital Handicapped Sports Program will be the beneficiary of the event. We invite the public to sponsor the golfers for each round they complete in donations to The Childrens Hospital (The world record is 80 rounds!)! We hope this event brings together the community for a good cause. Heritage Square will be offering free miniature golf all day to anyone who makes a donation to the Children's Hospital.
