Vicki Moran will discuss and sign her popular book Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado: Tales from Times Past. A slide show will illustrate the history of this small Front Range canyon from the early 1870s’ homesteading days through the post-World War II development boom. You will meet some of the early settlers through nostalgic personal memoirs as well as fun and informative historic newspaper articles that are a true depiction of life in that era.
