The Fair has a breadth of exhibitors including Civil War weaponry and railroad memorabilia and is for serious collectors and enthusiasts, as well as families out for a fun event.
Why the revitalization of an industry that has had its challenges through a very difficult U.S. Economy? The dealers unanimously say that the dedication to the quality of the merchandise allowed at the show is their leading reason for exhibiting. Dyon has taken a bold stance. The Rocky Mountain Antique Fair, The Real Deal©, contracts only with dealers whose merchandise is genuine antiques (at least 100 years old), vintage collectables (items at least 50 years old), or collectables that are out of production, at least 20 years old, and must have had monetary or artistic value when originally made. Those exhibiting anything else will either be asked to mark the items as such or asked to leave the show.
