Event Description:
Come discover the art and history of crazy quilting popular in the late 1800s and early 1900s in the Main Gallery. On exhibit are quilts from the RMQM permanent collection; Patty and Allen Brown Collection; Rita Meyerhoff Collection, owner of Heaven’s Quilts; and the Kelly Gallagher- Abbott Collection, owner of Jukebox Quilts in Fort Collins. In the Northeast Gallery; Kathy Suprenant, winner of the 2019 Evolutions Juried Show will present her series of art quilts entitled Through a Lens. Kathy’s inspiration for her work includes her years as a cell biologist and observations through the lens of a microscope.
