This month's guest: Rick Muirby, Community & Economic Development Director, City of Golden
This month, Rick Muirby will be joining us to give an overview of the department of Community & Economic Development of the City of Golden. He will share an overview of the different divisions within this department, including: Downtown Development Authority, Economic Development, Golden Urban Renewal Authority, Planning, Public Art Commission, and Visit Golden. He can share how these entities support the Golden business community as well as answer questions.
This is a hybrid event, you must register in advance to receive the link if you intend to participate via Zoom. It is also offered in person at the Golden Visitors Center. Please register in advance regardless of how you plan to attend.

The Community Development Committee is a roundtable group comprised of City, Chamber, and businesses that provide monthly updates. This monthly meeting is intended to be a strategic meeting of the business community with a focus on local economic development. This group frequently has outside guest speakers or when circumstances allow, they take "field trips" to area businesses.
