Community Boardbound helps women skillfully and confidently step into non-profit board service. Serving on a non-profit board gives you the opportunity to apply your talents to make a meaningful difference in your community. Securing a board position and successfully serving on a non-profit board require specific competencies, knowledge and strategies. Community Boardbound is a board-readiness program that offers a series of expert-led workshops over three months, with plenty of opportunities to connect with leaders of non-profit organizations. The six-session certificate program launches Wednesday, August 28 with the first session focusing on Types of Boards & Commissions and Board Governance & Ethics.
