Participants: Hickenlooper, Maes and Tancredo (Governor), Bennet and Buck (U.S. Senate) and Coffman and Flerage (U.S. House) will share the podium with regional candidates Hartman and Rosier (Jefferson County Commission), Leonard and Nicholson (Colorado Senate) and Cheri Gerou (Colorado House).
If a candidate is unavailable at the last minute, a high-level associate will be substituted.
The Forum is not debate. Nuchols emphasized, "It's a platform for candidates to synthesize their core values and major positions to a discriminating audience and the media."
The event kicks off at 6:30, Tuesday, October 5 and is open to the public without charge.
Doug Bell, Editor of Evergreen Newspapers, will moderate the Forum and the question and answer segment following candidate presentations. No questions will be taken from the floor - the audience will submit written questions during the Forum.
Prior to the event, questions may be e-mailed to the Chamber at
admin@evergreenchamber.org with the subject line "Evergreen
Candidate Forum Question."
