Trappers and Mountain Men of Colorado The fur trade was one of the main economic ventures in North America. Seeking fortune, Colorado Mountain Men were brave and bold. Historian Ed Weising will recount the exploits and deeds of mountain men like Kit Carson, James Beckwourth, Jim Colter and Jim Bridger.
