The Jefferson Symphony Orchestra celebrates 60 Years of Making Beautiful Music with its season opening concert titled "An Afternoon at the Opera". Guest Artist Kara Guggenmos, mezzo soprano joins the JSO for a performance of Richard Strauss' Four Last Songs and Der Rosenkavalier as well as Wagner's Tristan and Isolde Prelude and Liebestod and the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. Come experience the excitement, dedication and passion of this 75-member orchestra.
