Description
Colorado’s largest book event - the “Whale of a Used Book Sale” October 17 – 20 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The sale, which has a more than 25-year history in the community, offers the public more than 80,000 books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records and many more items with prices starting at $0.50. Plus, admission is free! “This event is always popular with book lovers from throughout Jefferson County and beyond!” said Jo Schantz, executive director of the Jefferson County Library Foundation. “Each year, our Whale of a Used Book Sales help us raise tens of thousands of dollars which in turn benefit the programs of Jefferson County Public Library that are offered free to the public.
