Description

Work-based learning is not possible without business. Across the state, meeting rooms and schools are buzzing about WBL — work-based learning. Explore the many avenues of WBL and how RRCC can support your efforts. It's not just an extra task that business owners and operators add to overflowing plates but can be both a short-term advantage and long-term strategy for talent.

Presenter Bio:

Ellen Olson is new to Red Rocks Community College but not new to the world of business and building connections to students. She is the grateful beneficiary of an internship in college that led her to a happy stint in environmental education and guiding students in outdoor and career exploration. Now she aspires to raise awareness of how community businesses can partner in work-based learning to grow and succeed.
