Part one in a series Jumpstart your historic and genealogical research and learn how to preserve your own treasures in this new workshop series, a partnership with Jefferson County Library. Start at the Golden History center, where you’ll join Kayla Gau, Golden History Museums’ curatorial assistant, for a demonstration of proper archiving for your family’s photos, documents or textiles. Explore sourcing for stable, acid free storage options, and learn the best ways to protect your precious memories. Then, walk next door to the Golden Library and work with a librarian to begin using the genealogy resources the library makes available.
