DUTIES
Specifically, the right applicant will start by ASSISTING in the following functions:

Payroll Processing Assistance
  • Assistance with daily operations reviewing assigned, critical verifications
  • Data entry and data processing for basic payroll clients; includes handling sensitive, privileged, and confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Support the operation by managing back-end pack-out of sensitive data; reviewing payroll submission and reports, payroll wrap-up and distribution
  • Utilize operational operating systems (Help Scout, CRM) to respond to client inquiries, route to others, communicate effectively in order to provide follow up and follow through both to clients and internally
Administrative Assistance
  • Answering and directing phone calls in collaboration with other team members, as well as greeting office visitors
  • Various special projects and administrative duties including maintaining office appearance cleanliness, management of supplies and equipment: copiers, fax, phone system, printers, etc.
  • Assist with high volume of mail pick-up, mail sorting, scanning and bank deposits, perform various routine verification checks & processes
Customer Service & Support
  • Build strong relationships with our customers. Learn details surrounding ASAP’s various services in order help clients understand the variety of services and solutions available to help them
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have these strengths & attributes:
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior payroll or accounting experience is a bonus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving aptitude. Poses an inner drive to understand people and listen to their needs. Patience and follow through with clients is key.
  • Diligent, punctual, and reliable.
  • Professional, positive and courteous in all interactions and communications.
  • Excellent grasp of computer software and ability to self-diagnose light IT issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality. Works for the team’s needs; performing duties each day in a complete manner, assisting in the little things to enhance the work environment.
  • Ability to view mistakes as learning opportunities and make resolving the issue to the client’s satisfaction the first priority.
