DESCRIPTION:Join us for a community celebration as we cheer on Team USA at the Paralympic Games at The Lockwood Foundation's newly opened Training Center & Community Hub in Golden.\n\nAt The Lockwood Foundation\, we believe adventure should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to create life-changing opportunities for individuals with limited mobility to explore trails and mountains once thought impossible. Through adaptive equipment\, volunteer teams\, and strong community partnerships\, we are breaking barriers\, building community\, and redefining what is possible one adventure at a time.\n\nThis watch party will bring together athletes\, families\, and community members to celebrate the strength\, determination\, and achievements of Paralympic athletes representing the United States.\n\nWe are excited to welcome HopeKids families for this afternoon of community connection. The event will also feature Paralympian Mike Tagliapietra\, Lockwood Foundation teammate\, former Para Pan American gold and bronze medalist\, and former national champion.\n\n \n\nWhat to Expect\n\n  Live viewing of Team USA Paralympic events\n\n  Meet Paralympian Mike Tagliapietra\n\n  Community gathering with HopeKids families\n\n  Food\, refreshments\, and conversation\n\nLight refreshments will be available\, and guests are welcome to bring a dish or snack to share as we gather together to celebrate Team USA and the Paralympic spirit.\n\nWith many Coloradans living and thriving with disabilities\, The Lockwood Foundation believes access to nature is a human right.
