DESCRIPTION:Spirits in the Wind Gallery\n\n\n\nVisit on First Friday February 4th 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Wine Tasting & Refreshments\n\n\n\nWelcomes new oil painter\, Theresa Beckemeyer.\n\n\n\nTheresa Beckemeyer\n\nborn and raised in Baltimore\, MD. Moved to Colorado as a young adult becauseTheresa had friends her and wanted an adventure. The thought was to stay in Colorado for just a little while and 36 years later\, I'm still here.\n\nTheresa Beckemeyer is the youngest offive daughters and very close family.She and her husband has three adult sons.\n\nTheresa Beckemeyer was able to stay at home Mom for a while and then worked as a staff accountant for many years. She started painting about 8 years ago. The oldest son was living out of state. the middle son was attending CU and the youngest was finishing high school.It was time to branch out and develop a new skill.\n\nWorking full time and painting only as I had time wad difficult for me. I took art classes at night and found it was a passion. I had two major surgeries in 2007\, avoided cancer\,took too long to recover and was laid off. No other jobs came along\, though I tried\, so I decided to take the plunge and become a full time artist.
