The program features Haydn?s Farewell Symphony which humorously has musicians leaving the stage throughout the finale until only the conductor and two violinists remain. The program opens with Corigliano?s Promenade Overture which flips that idea and has musicians enter the stage while playing until the stage is filled for the final notes. Also on the program is Brahm?s Variations on a Theme of Joseph Haydn. Ron Miles will also perform the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo.
