DESCRIPTION:The top three winners of the 2016 Jefferson Symphony International Young Artists Competition will perform in recital at 7:00pm at Colorado Christian University. The evening performance will follow a full day of competition for the finalists who will compete in the category of woodwind\, brass and percussion instruments. Finalists will compete for the top prize of $3\,000 and the opportunity to perform in concert with the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra at the March concert. Tickets for the evening recital are $15/adult\, $10/children and can be purchased by calling (303) 278-4237 or at the door. The public is welcome to attend the competition throughout the day\, 9:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. for free.
