SUMMARY:Gallery Talk with Carolyn Miller
DESCRIPTION:Meet the collector and curator of Dazzling Domestics. Carolyn bought her first quilt fabrics\, quilt book\, and a new sewing machine in 1992. She and her husband had relocated to Collin County\, Texas\, when he took early retirement and she knew she needed a hobby to keep busy. Two years after she began quiltmaking in earnest she became interested in antique quilts and started collecting. She started many friendships with like-minded people when she attended her first American Quilt Study Group seminar in Paducah\, Kentucky. Carolyn is a member of several quilt organizations and recently was involved in beginning the Lone Star Quilt Study Group in Texas.
