DESCRIPTION:Rumanian Rhapsody No. 1\, Op. 11 in A minor by Georges Enesco\nSymphony No. 3 in Eb Major by Ludwig van Beethoven\nViolin Concerto No. 1 in G minor by Max Bruch with Young Artists Competition winner Brandon Garbot\, Violin.  Brandon is the youngest finalist in this year's competition. He is a 16-year-old high school sophomore from Portland\, Oregon.  \n\nThe competition attracts young muscians locally and from around the world. Twelve finalists were selected for the live competition which was January. 9 at The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities\, co-sponsor of the event. The first place finalist receives a $2\,000 cash prize\, a $5\,000 scholarship\, and the opportunity to play with the Symphony. \n\n3:00 p.m.  Tickets:  $17 Adult\; $15 Senior\; $10 College Student  $5 K-12.
