DESCRIPTION:Golden CDC on Sept 1: Guest Speakers: Scot Grossman\, Peaks 2 Plains\n\n\n\nThe vision of the Peaks to Plains Trail is a 65-mile trail of statewide significance that will serve the 3 million residents of the Denver metro area. The goal is that the Peaks to Plains Trail will one day connect the South Platte Trail in Denver to the headwaters of Clear Creek at Loveland Pass. Once completed\, it will connect four counties and seven cities\, with a total elevation gain of more than 1 mile. \n\n\nPlease join us for this special opportunity to hear a business community update from Scot Grosman\, Projects Team Supervisor with Jefferson County.\n\n\n\nThis is a Zoom event\, you must register in advance to receive the link. It is also offered as a "hybrid" event if you prefer to watch the Zoom presentation with others. Please register in advance regardless of how you plan to attend. \n\n\nFollow the link to sign up to attend. After the presentation we will provide Chamber updates as well as City and business updates. \n\n\n\nThe Community Development Committee is a roundtable group comprised of City\, Chamber\, and businesses that provide monthly updates. This monthly meeting is intended to be a strategic meeting of the business community with a focus on local economic development. This group frequently has outside guest speakers or when circumstances allow\, they take "field trips" to area businesses. \n\n\n\nThe Community Development Committee is open to guests.
