DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Downtown Golden Washington Avenue Fence Banner project! \n\nThe Greater Golden Chamber of Commerce typically presents the Golden Fine Arts Festival each August\, to promote arts in Golden. Since the 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID-19 public health concerns\, the Chamber launched this fence banner project to continue the festival tradition. \n\nRecently the City of Golden installed street fencing to provide for expanded social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of the project is to decorate the street fencing to help create awareness of Golden's unique community culture\, while adding color and vitality to the downtown Washington Avenue streetscape. \n\nThis program is available for City of Golden businesses\, Golden Chamber members\, local non-profits\, artists and community members.
